Thank you, the few out there that prayed alongside with me.

The few that knows me inside out and knows full well my intentions.

Those are my 24/7 prayer warriors whenever I needed them.

I lost my drive to blog.

I guess I need a new space, a new avenue to start a new chapter.

It will definitely be one filled with my adventures with God.

And the places he will bring me to.

I am excited. I am finding my purpose.

I have been trying my best to talk to you nicely.

Dont mind letting you know the things on my mind.

or maybe things happening in my life.

But i detest the way you talk to me.

Now you created a phobia in me.

I am afraid to let you know things. Because you might just snap at me again.

I really don't know how to talk to you like before.

The worst thing is there IS a need for us to talk every now and then.

I guess only God can talk away this wall.

This wall of exasperation, fear of communicating with you.

MARK 11:25-26 NKJ25

"And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven mayalso forgive you your trespasses.

26 "But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father inheaven forgive your trespasses." You must forgive others.

No matter what they have done.

It is the command of God. But it was given for our benefit.

To not forgive hurts you.

Refusing to forgive is likes wallowing poison daily.

It will destroy you. Jesus said we should forgive when we stand praying.

So we don't have to wait until people apologize.

Nor does forgiveness require a long time.

Forgiveness is not a feeling. It is a decision to quit holding something against someone.

When we forgive people we must release them and forget it.

You may think it is impossible to forgive someone who has deeply wronged you.

With God it is possible.

He never asks us to do something we cannot do.

LUKE 6:35-38 NKJ35

"But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping fornothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you willbe sons of the Highest. For He is kind to the unthankful andevil.

36 "Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also ismerciful.

It is not optional. If we desire God's blessing and fellowship-- we must forgive others as He forgave us.

wow, God... you left me speechless.

I mean the word came instantly after I vented my fustrations.

After expressing how difficult it is to talk to that person again.

It is not an option whether or not to forgive.

It is a commandment.

cant believe the ordeal is ALMOST OVER.

But when i find it so tough studying, I keep telling myself studying is better than suffering in hell.

HAHA

yea i know its a weird way of comparing but it really wakes me up and stop me from complaining.

ANYWAYS

As I was packing my room, I stopped at a old box of letters.

Love letters, christmas letters, birthday cards, letters from my dearest girl friends.

Bern and I used to write letters to each other SO MUCH.

and we would roll them up and stuff them in bubble tea straws and pass it to each other.

Lisa, Sheryl and I also wrote long love letters, confessing how much we love each other and the stupid, retarded, cant-stop-laughing moments we shared.

( Right my capee avengerrrrr? HAHA)

I remember when I was in sec four, we were super ON for band.

My whole sec life practically revolved around band, band camps, competition.

Trained and march everyday under the hot sun, finished practise at 6-7 pm everyday.

Then we would all go out to kfc, smelly and sweaty to eat. Making A LOT of noise wherever we go.

Those were the days I was ACTUALLY TANNED.

But compared to my friends, I was still the fairest.

They used to call me pink chicken. ( cause i only get pink, chicken cause I am like a BAI ZHAN JI)

My conductor would shout from the top floor

" PINK CHICKEN move more to your left"

" PINK CHICKEN move up two steps"

( when we were doing our formation, I am from a marching band ALVIN CHIA -.-)

Laughing and talking at the top of our lungs on the bus.

We had band camp in 2004, near Christmas.

I remembered everyone baking, giving each other cards, exchanging presents.

During the camp, we would run round the field 10 times.

sometimes 20, to gain more stamina, increase breath support.

Go out on sectional outings.

Blading from Ecp to parkway.

During band practises, clarinet and trumpet section will ALWAYS curry favor with our conductor.

HAHA fighting to be the BEST section.

( cause the loudest people are in this two sections)

As I continued reading the letters, SOO much memories passed my mind.

So many friendships I forged and hold so close to my heart.

The good times, the first time we cliched gold.

How we stood there on the field, tears flowing down our face, hearts leaping with joy.

Those four years were the BEST years of my life.

really the best years.

And no one can take those memories away.

How we laughed when we want to. cry when we want to. Sing when we want to.

Not caring what the world will think.

Steamboat sessions, late night movies, long phone calls.

My first fling.

How I miss those days.

But I guess we are have to go through different phase in our lives.

And this phase, still filled with love and laughter, is a phase where I gotta start growing up and think of my future.

HAHA if only time can stand still.

OK time to hit the books again.

SATURDAY is going to be a eventful and power-packed day!

I checked out one of my essay assignment results.

And I was highly disappointed.

1. I put in a WHOLE mount load of effort.

2. Stayed up like a crazy woman for a week.

3.Got a really good friend to help me edit some stuff.

And yet the result is like crap.

I was really looking forward to see how well i will fare.

But it seemed as tho my effort went down the drain.

Doesnt help when I am struggling to study for my finance paper this thursday.

The result really stopped my studying momentum.

But I decided not to wallow in self pity and continue to fight the good fight.

I realised my parents are getting FUNNIER and more COMICAL with the way they talk.

Sometimes they make really bimbotic/himbotic statements.

It really cracks Turn and i up!

google--> GOGGLE (yes the goggles you use for swimming)

Realised Dad is getting real sarcastic with his jokes too.

UP many levels already.

While I was doing my usual thing, complimenting myself in front of my family.

My brother will slap my face and tell me to wake up.

My dad will ask me to pray that God opens my spiritual eyes.

This week has been really busy and packed.

Tho tiring but i feel it's been really fulfilling and I feel HARDWORKING! heee (:

I took up 3 teaching assignments- 2 in Schools and one p6 tuition kid!

Need to earn money for all the birthdays coming up! GOSHHH.

And I need to have a bit of savings in my bank every now and then if not i will feel a bit uneasy.

So I am happy I am busy in a GOOD WAY!

These week I conquered two test.

My econs and FINAL THEORY TEST!

Both went really well!

WOAHHH my friends will know how panic-ky i got over FTT.

Thank God by his grace I PASSED IT!

Boy was it good to see the BIG PASS on the screen.

I am so involved in my teaching that i hardly have time to go out.

Juggling between sch, upcoming exams, teaching and catching up with my dearests!

Have been talking to P for awhile and we decided to meet up! So i roped my crazy hat friend along!

HER obsession for soccer, music AND HATS. GOSH.

We wanted to just chill, drink tea, eat cake and TALK! (:

Yay three of our orders!

It was my first convo not talking much.
I could count the no of sentences I spoke mainly because carol was educating us with her VAST MUSIC KNOWLEDGE. HAHA
It's incredible how she can remember every artist from way back
Every lyrics to each song.

P has his own band and obviously loves music too.
Shortly after, Carol starting her topic on her ultimate love- SOCCER.

HAHAHA.

But when it was my turn to speak, to share what I was good at.
I suddenly didn't know what to say.
I mean I love music. But my knowledge for music isn't that EXTENSIVE.
I can play musical instruments but I am not superb at it.
I love sports- badminton, blading, swimming but do not have a flare in any particular one of them.
I can sing but not fantastically well.
jack of all trades, master of none eh?

Sad but true.
Anyhow, I think my parents gave me the name charity for a reason.
Maybe i should bank on that.
I have been super intrigued by the 5 love languages.
Never really done a test for it. So i decided to give it a go!

Sky of love

This Japanese movie is way tooo romantic!

Beautiful, sweet yet heart-wrenching show about first love.

I constantly felt butterflies in my tummy just watching how sweet and protective he is of her.

Gooshhhh and it was soooo touching and sad that I cant stop crying.

Got quite fustrated at the end cause I dont like the ending.

Not going to be a spoiler here.

TBut this is the best Japanese love movie I watched so far.

(Perhaps cause I hardly watch Jap movies)
But this is a really GOOD show to watch esp if you are a sucker for sappy love stories.

PS: The male lead is supppppperrrrrr dupeeeeerr cuteee! The girls really sweet and pretty too!

1. That week it was raining everyday. So we prayed with much faith that God will hold back the rain. There was no doubt in our hearts at all, and he provided SUN, WIND, beautiful weather. My friend told lisa that the weather report said there will be thunderstorms. But God proved otherwise.

2. Tho we enjoyed soaking in the sun, I WAS SOOOO TIRED OK. must be very long never exercise. NUGGET, super tired lo. HAHAH so when we reached lisa's car after the 2 enduring hrs of blading, we thank God like no one's business.

3. Bought ice barley and GULPED IT. we Thank God for the water while imagining how horrible it would be trapped in the dessert.

4. Lisa's car could not start when we were about to leave vivo city. We prayed and the car started immediately after.

In just one day, God turned so many things around for our good. We witnessed his hands moving in little ways. (:

Ok I think i slacked enough. Played enough. Its time to get my brains working!

Horror through a child's eyes

A glimpse of the Holocaust as seen through the eyes of an innocent boy, Bruno.

A really moving and emotionally gripping show that left me speechless for awhile at the end.
I really love war/history related shows. Esp involving Hitler/Germany/concentration camps.

A MUST-WATCH if you love what I love (:

Another related show which is my ALL time fave, LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL
- shows how great a father's love for his son in the midst of war.

Really love this kinda laid back, emotional movies that involves ties with kids.

Will watch it after all my stinky boring essays!

I was feeling grouchy and irritated in the car last Wednesday.
HAHAH
still remember i was sulking and folding my arms like a spoilt brat.

And as i was looking out of the window, i suddenly smiled really widely.
started to become a bit hysterical, jumping up and down my sit.
I shouted and nudged A like mad and told him there's a RAINBOW.

I tell you, it was soooooooooooooooooo BEAUTIFUL.
I could see all seven colours so distinctly.
Usually its so rare to see a rainbow, and even if you do, its like fading away kind.
THIS one was sooo clear, oh man i fell in love with it instantly.

I forgot that I was upset.
I took a million pictures of it from different angle.
The one below is the best.
I started to mass send my friends and told them about it. couldn't mms them so there you go!

My friend/ mum saw the WHOLE rainbow.
man, really how often do you come across such a beauty?

Joe's birthday is coming so she decided to bake him his fav- oreo cheesecake. WITH MY HELP OF COURSE!

So I sacrificed my studying time ( of which i think i would fail the paper ) to help her a lil.

But shes really not bad. Doing most of the job herself.

I am feeling happy and chirpy due to a few reasons!

1. I FINISHED MY HMT PROJ!! For that few days of intense work, it felt like the project will NEVER END! I'm so relieved its finally O-V-E-RRRRRR.

2. I am 21 this year and I finally received the GST OFFSET PACKAGE! $400 bucks eh! (: (:

HAHA nugget! This is dedicated to the SPECIAL few that purposely hao lian to me about their gst money last year, knowing I cant get it!

YESSS AR! The money came in so timely, to tide over my lil financial crisis!

3. I decided to CUT MY FRINGE after deciding for the LONGEST TIME.

I am super fickle when it comes to making such decisions.

and it doesnt help when i get mixed strong opinions about it.

Initially I wanted to wait until tmr's social night to cut but i just cant wait!

And i decided to JUST DO IT

I had to go school in the morning on that day.

Withnessed some super shocking incidents, which shook my quite a lil.

Was thinking a lot about it. What a way to start of my romantic day.

Then i had to go back and bake cookies for my churchies and prepare lesson.

sooo half the day was gone and I was half gone also.

But i was so upset the cookies oil soaked thr the paper bag. destroying some of my hearts! :(

But since we decided to have some happening time on Vday.

Lisa and her brother came to pick me up at 8pm and we ventured into this LOVELY small dempsey alike place.

OOOH the little cafes were soo beautiful and ROMANTIC ok?

But the food was so ridiculously priced. LIKE 2 SETS FOR $80 BUCKS.

CRAZY. I pity guys.

They have to spend so much on vday!

ESP THE FLOWERS. WOAH.

Anyways since we were not feeling rich, we decided to just go in to take pictures.

CAUSE i tell you the place is like A MINI romantic, cosy place with trees, flowers, strawhuts, fountains.

Its too romantic i decided to go back there the next vday.

TO EAT that is. not just take pictures!

lisa and I promised to double date there in future.

V- vengeance!

We ended up eating in a coffeeshop nearby with smoke fuming up our hair.

HAHA but it was really the company that made this vday so special.

THREE of us were super sour grapes while looking at couples and had convo that went:

S&L came over to my house to bake pineapple tartys.

Before i get started on the world's best camp group ( besides oceans 12 )

I learnt a whole lot in riverlife's youth camp.

My parents are now in that church so they wanted me to attend their youth camp.

Initially i agreed but after purity camp i was dreading it.

Not that i was tired but cause:

1. Lisa and I didnt know anyone there.

2. Attended 2 camps already, needed some time relaxing at home.

3.Lisa and I didnt know anyone there.

But wow. Thank God i went!

I am SO SO SO SO inspired by the love and compassion of the youth there.

They really welcomed the newcomers with wide open arms.

My leader took real good care of us. She introduced us to her friends and told them to watch out for us.

During prayer, random highlifers came up to pray for us.

Some just came up to us and said hi because they never seen us before.

OHHH Man! The awesome hospitality there is something i really want to bring back to speedlight.

The culture of love and acceptance is overwhelming.

And it is a culture i am sure God loves to see among his children :)

Oh and did i mention how fantastic my group mates were?

The moment we stepped into our groups, they were all going crazy and high already.

Before i went for the camp, i prayed to God and trusted him that he will put us in good hands.

Purity camp was capital AA-MAZINGGGG.
I learnt so so so so much from the devotions, work shop and sermons.
How we should all make a conscious effort to be pure in our actions, speech , mind.
But the selfish human nature robs our innocence.
Deceives the mind to carry ulterior motives, impure intentions.
That's when we really need God in our lives to purify us.
Give us the strength and bonus to not only fight our battles but reign over them.
Because we are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus

The pnw was really excellent too.
The presence of God was so strong and evident.
There was no hurry, we took the sweet unhurried time to soak in God's presence.

Besides all the spiritual food, the group bonding was awesome.
every group really took pride in their flags, cheers and gave their all during games.( which was fantastic too! )

HAHA! our group was super zai in games i tell you!

really zai to the max! and thus we won $40 minds cafe vouchers for the best games group!

The prize was really app because we were thinking of organising a group outing soon already.

I love everyone of them so dearly.

The new friendships i made, i want to continue to strengthen them

Because they are all so lovable! The girls would stay up and talk about anything.

laugh at stupid things, and how blur Sandy and Joanne get all the time.

This is the busiest December to date.

Everyday I am packed with activities, planning, practices, catching up with friends, a MILLION camps.

SO BUSY till I cannot feel the christmas atmosphere at all.

Christmas has been my favorite season and period.

I used to love love listening to christmas songs, absorb all the beautiful lightings and deco.

This year it seems like my overly hectic schedule don't allow me that luxury.

But despite my busy schedule God has been so SO REAL.

1. I had very bad sore-throat and cough those 3 days in msia.

The msia trip was one day before WANTED camp.

I was in charge of worship.

God healed me the night before, i had no difficulties at all while praising God in the camp

2. God held back the rain those 3 days.

It rained the moment we settled for lunch AFTER the camp.

While the committee members were eating " in the rain", we were just so so in awe.

so in awe of how much he loves us and the campers.

3. Everything in the camp went smoothly. From the games to pnw to sermon, God's hands of protection was over us.

4. My results.

5. I fell sick after the camp. Had serious serious diarrhoea 3 times on sat night.

once at 2 am, 4 am and 9 am. The pulling pain i felt in my tummy was not those usual ones i experienced. It really tested my threshold of pain. Felt like vomiting too.

My mum has been always been a woman of faith in the family. she. urged me to pray and trust in God for healing. Coincidentally, cell group on sunday was at the void deck. So if my stomach starts to hurt i would not be able to find a toilet nearby.But this time i wanted to exercise the lil faith i had. Tho i had doubts, wanted to stay at home to rest, i gave God whatever i believed in and he healed me of food poisoning Didn't have any stomach discomfort the whole sunday :)

I don't feel the christmas atmosphere but i feel God

I cant believe this!
I cleared my accounting paper!! :D
OOOOOH LAUGHTER PEACE AND JOY!

I was so so soooooooooooooo nervous.
Because that accounting paper, to me was really difficult.
Out of seven qxs, i skipped two, only confident of one qx.

That was the paper that killed my mood for celebrating tho it was the last paper.
But I told myself I had to trust God.
The results are definitely out of my control.

ANNNNNNNNNNND YEPP!
The lord is ever so faithful.
He really brought me through the hardest period of my life.
But we survived! TOGETHER! :D

I screamed so loudly when I saw my results.
gave my brother a heart attack.

Now i can go msia in peace
oh man! i can smile till my teeth drops and my face gets cramp

The sport that made my body ache like a old granny.

you will never guess where we played badminton at.

THE AIRPORT!
The place is uber cool.
The court is air-conditioned :)
Had lotsa fun playing with the musician.
I went to join in since my bro was playing.
waaa I ran quite a abit man because some people keep netting ( dont want to say who )

And gaz and greg really quite the pro man.
greg esp. fierce sia.

The toilet there is super shiok to bath too.
very clean, air-conditioned.

My last day at work :( :(

Will miss shouting at the top of my lungs trying to fight the loud speakers
Will miss pushing our co- promoters away just to get biz for ourselves. HAHAH
Will miss getting teased by the co-promoters when they hear me ATTEMPTING to promote in chinese.
Will miss using lousy, cheesy, ridiculous tactics just to get more customers.
Will miss staring at each other with a evil-playful look when the co-promoters snatched our customers away.
Will miss the times we laughed and joked together.

Today a lot of my customers came back to look for me.
I tell you when your customers remember your name and go one big round just to buy from you.
wow that feeling is fantastic.

so we were all trying to get sales for our own bosses.
This is my competitor's boss's son!

The pinky and the brain are our competitor's promoters.
Initially pinky looks super fierce and dao.
But after getting to know them, tho we were representing different companies we clicked really well.
HAHA! they kept complaining that gaz and i always snatch customers from them.

Half the time we were pushing each other away because they kept giving out fliers in our territory :)
I will really miss them man.

PS: their real names are Ivan and shit i forgot the other name. but don't they look like pinky and the brain?! HAHAH

Our boss is super super super nice i tell you.
super approachable, no air, humble, easy-going, cheerful.
If my future boss is someone like that i will be super happy.

My first time going for a meal with my colleagues.

I love working for these kinda 4 days fairs.
But the feeling when the work ended is super .......
like you wont get to see your co-workers/boss soon enough etc.

oh wells i really enjoyed myself thoroughly tho it's physically draining.

My boss is the best boss i ever met.
( besides the adidas fair's )

He is so so so nice and easy-going and friendly and accomodating.
Buys drinks, cupcorn for us.
Even offered to treat us burger king or subway if we hit the quota.

So far i really enjoy working for the it fair.
My collegues are all so fun to be around- mainly because they are boys and boys are easier to get along with.
AND AND AND my friend came all the way down to deliver bubble tea for me!
toucheedddd! :D

REALLY learnt a lot a lot from this job
how to handle competition, stress.
How to rely on God solely and not on my own strength.

I am so thankful for my family.

They are my motivation to get more sales.
They are my motivation to press on when it's tough.
In my mind, i wanna get one more, one more after each sales.
Competition was so competitive that i dont even wanna take too long breaks.
you never know how much sales u can get in that 5 mins.

I wanna get more commission to bring them out for a nice dinner.
Before i started work today i prayed for God's favour to be upon me.
yesterday i managed to sell 15 harddisk only.

Today i told God i wanna sell 40.
And the lord did not short change me.
He blessed me to the overflowing & i sold 52 harddisk! :D

I was sooo happy , even tho my feet hurts like mad, i wanna run home and tell my family first.
Even tho i was so tired after standing for 12 hours, i wanna take the first bus home to see my parents smile.
It made me even happier when they told me they have been praying for me since morning.

I am dead beat.

stood up. walked around for 12 hours.

But amidst all the complaining i wanna thank God for this job.

all the money is spent for necessities and on the family.

After sending Bea to school, Bern drove the 3rios to Botanics to CHILLAX.

We took 1 hr from her school which is at bukit timah to get to botanics- BY CAR.

HA cause we lost our way and drove in circles .

The ride there was hilarious.

imagine three "small girls" in a BIG 6 seater car.

oh wells.

with much determinatoin, calls for directions and screamings (cause of berns dangerous driving, my heart stopped a trillion times) we set foot in the beautiful garden.

We were supposed to have a cell outing but quite a few guys couldn't make it.

Irving cancelled the whole outing but the girls were waiting for it so they decided to bump around in my house. AND HAVE A STAYY OVERR! :D

So OBVIOUSLY i cannot be selfish, i taught them the game that sparked off my passion for GAMES!
Had dinner at my place and went for macs for ice-cream :)
yup i know super fattening but we don't care.

It was the first time the girls in my cell went out together.
I would say its a good start of getting to know each other better.

I failed the stupid stupid BASIC THEORY TEST.

I went to take the e trial before my test, I PASSED.
So i went to brush up by studying a bit more, esp those i got parts i got wrong.

I went to take the real test with much confidence.
The test seemed really easy to me.
quite a few recycled questions from the trial.
I had 99% hope of passing.

so while i was waiting for the result, visualing a PASS on the monitor.

instead i saw A BIG BIG FAIL.
My heart really sank.
I just walked out feeling dejected. :(
I really didnt understand why.

Especially when i had such big expectations and confidence in myself.
walked up to alvin.
told him i failed.
He thought i was joking but when he saw those tears falling down my face,
he knew i was serious.

BTT may seem like a small deal or stg.
but i really really wanna pass the first time.

OH WELLS.
but while i was on the way back home, i comforted myself with the lil blessings that was around despite the failure.
the concern of my friends and the company i had with me through the test.
Tho i really dont know why i failed but i told God its ok.

With that i told myself to bounce back!
I will study harder for the next test.
I will not be so complacent and i will PASS it.

Was supposed to tan but as usual there was no sun and it was DRIZZLING!

But it was super shiok to swim.
